AdventureAsia! Chinese New Year, Year of the Pig

This FREE program, in partnership with the Association of Chinese Professionals, includes music performances, martial arts, art activities, games, and a live lion dance and dragon parade!

Event takes place from 12:00 to 5:00pm. Martial arts demonstrations kick it off from 12:00-2:00pm. Around the same time, there will be art activities and chinese games. Listen for the feature concert by Voices of Change at 3:00pm. It's a Chinese music concert of compositions blending Chinese and Western instruments featuring: Barbara Sudweeks and Chinese Quintet: er-hu (Chinese violin), pipa (Chinese lute), di (Chinese flute), Chinese drums and horse hooves. Finally, don't miss our grande finale: the Dragon Parade on Flora Street at 4:00pm.

National Woman's Heart Day Health Fair

This heart screening is for women only. So take advantage of free comprehensive heart screenings (blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, BMI, etc.) with counseling provided by medical professionals. Enjoy ongoing healthy cooking and fitness demostrations, browse the various exhibitor booths, and register for prizes and giveaways. The Health Fair is free and open to the public in the Centennial Hall Building. Free parking. 8 am to 3 pm.

Dallas Autorama

The Dallas Autorama is a super fun family event featuring special guests, demonstrations, and enough cars--custom cars, hot rods, race cars and more--to fill your dreams for the next year. Over 300 competitive car, bike and truck classes, from sport compacts to customs and lowriders to hot rods, will be displayed and judged. General admission is $13.00; children 6-12 are $5.00; children 5 and under are free.
