RE/MAX
Judy McCutchin sets pace for real estate industry
with innovative high-tech advantages for buyers
and sellers
(Dallas, TX - Jan. 17,
2002) -- Judy McCutchin, award-winning Dallas RE/MAX associate,
recently revealed a list of high-tech tools that
have turned her business into a runaway success.
As
one of the most popular speakers at the recent
2001 convention of the National Association of
Realtors (NAR) in Chicago, she demonstrated how
her residential business combines operations with
her Dallas office and a virtual assistant in Salt
Lake City - a program that consistently puts her
at the top of the residential industry in North
Texas.
From
the stage of the Chicago Convention Center, Ms.
McCutchin used a multi-media presentation,
big-screen pop-ups and a virtual computer and
microphone connection through Yahoo Net-to-Phone.
Her Salt Lake City assistant controlled the
computer for a real-time demonstration that was an
eye-opener for attendees, notes a RE/MAX
spokesperson.
The
adventurous Dallas Realtor has been nationally
recognized by RE/MAX as a Lifetime Achievement
winner, a recent inductee into the RE/MAX Hall of
Fame and winner of the company's Platinum Club
Award yearly since 1994.
She specializes in luxury homes in north
Dallas, Plano, Frisco, McKinney and surrounding
areas.
"We're definitely pushing the envelope in technology for
the industry," says Ms. McCutchin who has found
her sophisticated buyers and sellers appreciate
her leading-edge technology.
With one of Texas' busiest RE/MAX offices
located in the Preston Road north-south venue
called the Golden Corridor and a well-equipped
home office, Ms. McCutchin has three full-time
assistants, including her marketing graphics
designer in Salt Lake City.
A
recent R/E/T (Real Estate Technology) magazine
article describes her office as "an arsenal of
tech tools that could make even Bill Gates
envious." That
includes 11 computers networked with 17 phone
lines, a half-dozen digital cameras, personal
digital assistants (PDAs), laptops and a huge
assortment of high-end, customized software. She
even has her own industrial-strength color printer
for post cards, direct mailings and high-quality
graphics.
The
road to her success has been neither easy nor
straight. "Sometimes
I think we're on the bleeding edge - not the
leading edge.
I've got a lot of arrows in my back,"
she laughs. "We're
not like a lot of people in this industry who are
adverse to change and not willing to think outside
the box on a unique project.
We're quite the opposite."
So willing, in fact, that she has invested
more than $200,000 to build a huge back-end system
to her Web site. This
system provides every single piece of the real
estate transaction to her clients - contracts,
reports on such things as who viewed the property
and what their reaction was, check lists, calendar
scheduling - and much more.
"We
were among the first in the industry to put the
entire sales transaction on-line, enabling buyers
and sellers to access any of the related paperwork
they need electronically, from contracts to
inspections to title work and more through their
own private Web page," says Ms. McCutchin.
The private Web suite provides a
password-protected Web page for buyers and sellers
with all the information affecting their home
sale.
Judy
McCutchin is the top producer for the Preston Road
North office of RE/MAX at 17740
North Preston Road in Dallas. She is one of more than 4,000 independently owned offices
more more than 69,000 member sales associates who
lead the industry in professional designations,
experience and production while providing real
estate services in residential, commercial,
referral, relocation, and asset management.
